2022 April PAD Challenge: Day 21

Write a poem every day of April with the 2022 April Poem-A-Day Challenge. For today’s prompt, write a sound poem.

I’ve been having so much fun that I nearly didn’t notice that after today’s poem we’ll be three weeks through this challenge. Way to go!

For today’s prompt, write a sound poem. We’ve already done smell, taste, and touch; I hope you can see where this is headed. For today, write about sounds in general or honey in on one particular sound. Keep your ears open today and maybe a poem will sing out to you.

Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Here’s my attempt at a Sound Poem:

(Today, I was inspired to whip out my little Wordy 30 form, since I’ve seen a few other poets use it this month.)
